The Irish Flag flies over Charleston Harbor during June, 2013 to commemorate the dedication of the South Carolina Irish Memorial located on the Cooper River at the end of Charlotte Street,in downtown Charleston, SC. The monument highlights and stands testament to the contributions of Irish Immigrants to the history and heritage of the low country of South Carolina, from the earliest colonial days through the present.
